Recipes CHERRY LEMONADE VODKA SLUSHIES | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tsp lemonade mix (I use 2 packets Crystal Light Lemonade)
  • 3 fl oz Cherry Vodka
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups ice

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Add all ingredients into a high power blender and blend until smooth and slushie texture.
  2. Pour into 2 glasses and sip away!

Recipes ROSE SANGARITA | Easy Food & Drink



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 cup tequila blanco
  • 1 bottle Michelle Brut Rosé
  • Ice
  • Garnish:
  • Orange slices
  • Lime Wedges


INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a pitcher, mix together the orange juice, lime juice and tequila blanco.
  2. Fill cocktail glasses half way to three-forth the way with ice. Fill halfway with the tequila mixture.
  3. Top with Rose wine.
  4. Garnish with fresh orange slices and fresh lime wedges, if desired.
NOTES
*Optional: For lime rims, rub lime around the rim. Spread salt onto a plate wide enough for glasses to fit. Dip rims of glasses into salt mixture.
*Must be 21 years or old to enjoy.

Recipes RASPBERRY COLADA SMOOTHIE | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 tsp coconut extract
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder*

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a high power blender, add all the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.
NOTES
*Optional, but highly recommended as smoothie will be icy. If you choose not to use it, vanilla greek yogurt would be a great alternative! *This is the protein powder I buy and love! It blends extremely well and contains no artificial ingredients!

Recipes ICED COCONUT MILK MOCHA MACCHIATO | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup chilled double strength brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
  • 1/2 cup carton coconut milk (vanilla if possible)
  • 1 tablespoon Silk Vanilla Almond Milk Creamer
  • Few drops vanilla stevia or 1 tablespoon coconut sugar (or sugar of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons organic chocolate syrup
  • Ice


INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Brew your coffee if you do not have done so yet. Place in freezer to chill while making remaining drink.
  2. Fill a tall glass 3/4th with ice. Add coconut milk, creamer and stevia. Stir.
  3. Slowly pour chilled coffee on top.
  4. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  5. Enjoy!

Recipes SLOW COOKER SALTED CARAMEL HOT CHOCOLATE | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
  • 4 cans lite coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • Optional Toppings: Salted Caramel, Marshmallows, Chocolate Chips, Whipped Cream

INSTRUCTIONS
    Slow cooker:
  1. Add all ingredients, except toppings, to a slow cooker. Set to low for 3-4 hours. Stir occasionally, and let cook until heated through.
  2. Serve with optional toppings.
  3. Stove Top:
  4. Add all ingredients to a large sauce pan, set to medium heat. Whisk until all combined and cook until warmed through. Serve immediately with optional toppings.

Recipes PEPPERMINT MOCHA WHITE RUSSIAN | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
    Drink:
  • 1.5 ounce Vodka
  • 1.5 ounce Peppermint Kahula
  • 2 ounces Milk of choice
  • Garnishes:
  • Whipped Cream
  • Crushed Candy Canes

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a cocktail glass, filled half way with ice, add a 1:1 ratio of vodka and Kahula.
  2. Top with milk. Stir to combine.
  3. Garnish with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
NOTES
*Recipe updated December 2016 to reflect cleaner ingredients. Coffee creamer was removed, and milk was increased. But if you wish, add a 1:1 ratio of peppermint mocha creamer and milk

Recipes PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL APPLE SMOOTHIE | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
  • 1 apple, or 1 unsweetened applesauce cup
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon old fashioned oatmeal
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, optional (will help thicken as well)*
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice (or to desired consistency)
  • Whipped Cream, optional but highly recommended

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Mix well.
  2. Add to serving glass and garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
NOTES
*This is the protein powder I buy and love! It blends extremely well and contains no artificial ingredients!

Recipes SKINNY CHAMPAGNE MARGARITAS | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
  • 4 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 3 ounces agave silver tequila
  • 2 teaspoons agave syrup
  • 4 ounces champagne (or enough to fill glass)
  • Lime wedges, for serving


INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the fresh lime juice, tequila and agave syrup. Shake to mix well.
  2. Pour into two cocktail glasses.
  3. Top with champagne and lime wedges.

Recipes COLD BREWED COFFEE | Easy Food & Drink



INGREDIENTS




INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a large container, combine coffee beans and water. Make sure all the coffee beans are covered and saturated.
  2. Cover and allow to sit overnight, 24 hours is ideal. You can store it in the fridge or room temperature if you wish. 
  3. Set a fine mesh strainer, (optional: line with cheesecloth), over a pitcher or another container. Slowly pour coffee mixture through strainer, allowing all the liquid to seep through. You may need to help push the liquid through the strainer. Pour the mixture through the strainer one to two more times to ensure all the grounds have been caught. (This is where a cheesecloth comes in handy.) Discard grounds after filtering.
  4. Place coffee in the fridge, in a sealed container and allow to chill until ready to use.
  5. To make an iced coffee, add 1 cup ice cubes to glass. Add a 1:1 ratio of coffee to water and mix well. Add sweetener and milk to taste, stir well. Taste and adjust milk and sweetener if needed.
  6. Sit back and enjoy!

Recipes CINNAMON DOLCE LATTE RECIPE | Easy Food & Drink


INGREDIENTS
    cinnamon sugar syrup:
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • latte:
  • 1 cup double strength coffee*
  • 1 cup milk (i used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
  • cinnamon sugar topping:
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1/16 teaspoon cinnamon




INSTRUCTIONS
    cinnamon sugar syrup:
  1. in a small sauce pan, bring the water, sugar, and cinnamon to a boil. let boil for 2 minutes, until the sugar is dissolved. remove from heat and set aside.
  2. latte:
  3. brew a double strength cup of coffee.
  4. add milk to a sauce pan and warm or microwave for 1 to 2 minutes, or until desired warmth. froth milk once warm with a handheld frother or by adding milk to a blender and blending on high.
  5. in 2 coffee mugs, add 1 tablespoon cinnamon syrup, then divide the coffee and milk between both, finishing with the foam on top.
  6. cinnamon sugar topping:
  7. combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle on top of foam.
  8. enjoy!
NOTES
note: folgers perfect measures are no longer sold so please follow directions below to make double-strength coffee. *make a double strength cup of coffee by doubling the ground coffee or folgers perfect measures tabs for a regular cup of coffee.
